Feast of Pentecost

Bishop Murphy implores all those present at this Mass celebrating the feast of the Pentecost to open their lives to the wind and fire of the Holy Spirit – to embrace the spirit of renewal that is the essence of this feast. He says, “The early Christian community walked with faith into the unknown and left the security of doing what they always did – and so must we. The early Christian community was attentive to God’s agenda and not its own – and so must we.”
