Christmas – 1983

In his annual Christmas “Reflections” column in the Montana Catholic Register, Bishop Murphy begins by saying, “In so many ways, Christmas responds to the needs of the human spirit. Christmas is a celebration of all the human heart yearns and hopes for – life, peace, hope and joy.” He elaborates by recognizing the many individuals who will not experience any peace, joy or hope this Christmas season. Bishop Murphy commits to bring the message of Christmas to these people each day of the year.
