1984 – A Year of Crisis

With the coming of the New Year, Bishop Murphy dedicates his weekly Montana Catholic Register “Reflections” column to the fundamental crises the Diocese of Great Falls-Billings, MT will face. He concludes by saying, “1984 will be a year of crisis in so many other respects of Church life. But 1984 can be a year of grace as we face decisions that will build up the Body of Christ among us. May we have the courage and faith to respond to the challenges before us. A year of crisis is not necessarily bad. It could be the best experience we have ever had.”
