Evangelii Nuntiandi – Ten Years Later

In his keynote address to the National Council for Catholic Evangelization, Bishop Murphy provides a comprehensive overview of the apostolic exhortation “Evangelii Nuntiandi” ten years after it was issued by Pope Paul VI. Bishop Murphy concludes his remarks by offering the following thought, “In our ministry of evangelization as we face the challenges and shape the future, our major responsibility is to enlist the total people of God in our efforts. We must recognize and appreciate the charisms, gifts and grace present in each member of the Church community.”
