Eastside Catholic High School Commencement Address

Archbishop Murphy began his commencement address by commending the wisdom of all members of the Eastside Catholic High School Class of 1990 – the wisdom to be alive in the Spirit. He characterized their wisdom as arising out of the recognition that life and being alive is a gift from a good and gracious God. In closing he offered the following thought, “Wisdom will help you become people of wonder, people who recognize that the human race will not perish for lack of information, but only for want of appreciation.”
