Teachers’ Inservice Day

Making a difference – this is the prevalent theme of Archbishop Murphy’s homily delivered at a Mass for the Archdiocese of Seattle’s Annual Teachers Inservice Day. He extends his sincere gratitude for the role all present play in forming the intelligence, values and religious foundations of their students. “Catholic education is more than religious words and symbols,” said Archbishop Murphy. “It is the willingness of teachers to share themselves and their faith. And when teachers share these gifts, they make a difference.”
