St. Mary of the Lake Seminary Farewell Celebration

Fr. Tom Murphy celebrated his last Mass as rector of St. Mary of the Lake Seminary on August 17, 1978. He delivered a moving homily where he bade farewell to family, friends, colleagues and to the place that had played such a prominent role in his life. The following morning he began the journey west to open the next chapter of his ministry in his service to God and the church as the fifth Bishop of the Diocese of Great Falls, MT.
