Living in Our Creator’s Love and Truth

In his keynote address to the Tekawitha Conference, Bishop Murphy emphasizes the importance of using God’s truth and love to heal burdensome memories – memories which often involve pain, broken promises, the failure to understand, mistrust and the lack of respect for a culture and a tradition. He says, “Yet, we all find common ground in the Church which invites us here, a Church which supports and encourages the Tekawitha Conference, a Church which celebrates a faith which helps us appreciate our gifts and the great value, dignity and worth of each human person.”
