A Call to Reconciliation

Bishop Murphy encourages all the faithful to take advantage of the sacrament of reconciliation during Lent in his weekly Montana Catholic Register “Reflections” column. He describes this sacrament as the opportunity to have a powerful encounter with the Lord. “I believe that our celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation is a grace which enhances our life as individuals and as a faith community,” says Bishop Murphy. “It helps us recognize our sin, our failings, our weakness and calls us to grow in relationship to the Lord and others.”
