Homily for ordination to priesthood

Archbishop Murphy’s weekly Catholic Northwest Progress “In Joy and Hope” column is the homily he delivered at the ordination to the priesthood of Robert Camuso, Tuan Nguyen and John Wilkie at St. James Cathedral in Seattle, WA. Celebrations such as this were quite meaningful for Archbishop Murphy in light of his passion for vocations to the priesthood. He asks each of the newly ordained priests to open their lives to the Holy Spirit and to share the gift of ministry with others. As was his tradition at all ordinations, the archbishop extended his gratitude to all those who played a role in nurturing these vocations – especially to family, friends and teachers.
